December Dedicated to the Immaculate Conception

Retreats

Monastic life is a life of prayer. At the Community of Saint Benedict, the Rule of Saint Benedict is followed and it is centered on three disciplines: Liturgical Prayer, Lectio Divina and Manual Labor. All three are of equal importance and essential for maintaining the life of the community in the worship of God and service to the Church and the world.
Due to our cloistered life from the world retreats and visits to our community or not offered at this time. We will in the coming future with enough donations to the “Retreat House Building Fund” be able to offer both guided retreat programs and weekend visits.

Support Our New Retreat House

Over the past several years we have not received enough donations to help us build a new “Retreat House”. Until the cost of the building fund can be met, we will have to continue to pray and ask our Lord’s intercession. We ask you humbly to make this project come to a reality. So many have asked when will we offer retreats again and we respond with a heavy heart, we have to say: as soon as we have a place to put those who desire to spend time with us.
Help us make the Retreat House a reality. We ask if you can help, send us a donation by clicking on the donate button below. Thank you.
